Flowers

We've had a busy month. This morning was the first "me time" I've had in weeks. I took advantage of it by spending time with some flowers and my macro lens. 

Ginger Cookies

I love a good ginger cookie. Not a hard, crumbly one that shatters with your first bite. I love a soft. chewy one with perfect texture and crystallized ginger.

I included my crusty, artisan bread in this food shoot because it was too perfect to leave out. Best bread ever!

The Ladybug

I discovered this little ladybug in my flower garden after a rainstorm. She was a very cooperative model. 

The Salt Flats take 2

I finally made it out to the Salt Flats again, this time with my girls. It was freezing cold and windy, but we got a few fun shots in before the sun went down.

The Spiral Jetty

I've always wanted to venture out to this location. I finally convinced the hubs, and we took a day trip. It's somewhat bizarre, but pretty amazing none the less.

Photography Field Trips

There are those days when I feel as though my brain needs a break from all the crazy. Often an evening photography field trip provides the exact thing I need at the moment-- a chance to escape, be creative, and enjoy my surroundings. These were taken at a favorite local park/farm.
